I am a recent grad and have been have just been hired for a position advertised as 'Mid-Level Strategic Planner'. They probably offered me less money and will give me less responsibility than they originally had planned for the role but they had been advertising for months. I really think agencies (digital especially) need to invest more time in training grads to fill these mid level roles. We (Gen Y) have lots of digital knowledge but not the required experience. We are crying out to learn and we get stuck doing admin. I am stoked that I will be trained to the level that I will be able to apply for mid level roles.
